The Registry of Patents in Singapore has granted a patent to Advent Television's enhanced TV advertising service, Avation. The official title is: 'A System for Electronic Placement and Broadcast of an Advertisement.' The patent's claims incorporate the salient features of Avation including the communications, scheduling and generation of the commercials.
Australian Patent No.732082 for 'A System for Electronic Placement and Broadcast of an Advertisement' has been granted by the Australian Patent Office. Patents are also in place in Hong Kong, Canada, Brazil.
Designs protected by US patents 427, 202; 427,203; 428,895 and 428, 894.
Avation is a registered trademark in Korea, Mexico, Singapore, Taiwan and the United States.
